I thinks it's neat how in Nick’s eyes, Gatsby embodies an ability to dream and to escape the past that may ultimately be impossible, but that Nick cherishes and values nonetheless.
Nick's complicated feelings about Gatsby fascinate me as well. I've read the book over ten times and still have a tough time determining if Nick likes the guy or not.

DeleteI think it's sad how Gatsby had such huge parties with so many people and then at his funeral only Nick, Owl Eyes, and Gatsby's father.
